Safety Strap Installation Instructions

All Anchor straps have been inspected for faults or fraying of the material and stitching.

After removing Anchor Strap form the box, inspect the material and D-Ring for any foreign materials.

Protective sleeve will be firmly secured to the strap at the opposite end of the D-Ring.

After the shear wall has been poured and the forms have been removed the Anchor Strap is to be connected by the loop end of the strap to the secured re-bar protruding through the top of the shear wall. All Anchor Straps must meet building code and not be installed any closer than six (6) feet back from the  perimeter of the building.

Once Anchor Strap has been installed, forming of the floors continues and the Anchor Strap is firmly secured by pouring concrete over the protective sleeve.

After all the forming materials have been removed, the Anchor Strap will be easily accessible for the worker to connect to.  The Anchor Strap will be hanging from secured position at the top edge of the wall.

Horizontal lifelines or static lines may be attached to two opposite embedded Anchor Straps. Once the open hazard area has been eliminated from the perimeter, and a secured constructed window or wall has been installed the Anchor Strap can now be removed by cutting the material at the edge where it protrudes through the concrete wall .
